Jerry Maahs established Alto-Shaam in 1955 after looking for a way to deliver hot chicken to his customers during Wisconsin's frigid winter. Since that original Cook and Hold oven, Alto-Shaam has continued to recognize hot holding needs within the foodservice industry by pioneering solutions that are essential to profitable food service. Today, Alto-Shaam features a full line of warming cabinets, rotisseries, chillers, convection, combi and  Cook and Hold ovens.
