Chefs' Toys Opens
San Marcos Chamber of Commerce ambassadors joined Chef’s Toys employees for a celebratory ribbon cutting held at 11 a.m. Aug. 23. Above left, Regional Manager Ralph Sandoval holds large scissors while San Marcos Store Manager Eric VanValkenburg sharpens his chef’s knife to cut the ribbon. The new location is located at 307 E. Carmel St., just off the 78 and Twin Oaks Valley Road. Chef’s Toys provides food industry restaurant supplies and commercial kitchen equipment. Guests enjoyed product demonstrations, food samples and discounted merchandise throughout the day.
