COVID-19 UPDATE: How Chefs’ Toys is Responding

As news around COVID-19 is changing by the minute, we wanted to let you know that we’re monitoring developments closely. We recognize that the restaurant and foodservice industry has been greatly impacted over the past few weeks, and we want you to know we’re in this together! We’re here to support you and your business through this uncertain time.

Chefs’ Toys is confirmed as an essential business during this state of emergency. We directly provide essential goods, products and services to the nation’s food supply chain.

Our top priority is, and always has been the health and safety of our team and our customer community. Due to Governor Newsom’s order for Californians to stay home, we made the difficult decision to close our doors temporarily. However, we have a store team working remotely – answering store phones, taking orders and arranging local delivery and national shipping. Our Fountain Valley and Van Nuys locations are open for will call pickups. Additionally, is fully operational.

While many of our teammates are home with their families, we have a devoted staff across all departments working to keep our operation fully functional.

As many items we stock are in high demand, our merchants and supply chain teams are prioritizing replenishment and restocking as quickly as possible.

We’re seeing an increased demand for to-go disposables, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning and sanitizing chemicals and other cleaning supplies. As a result, inventory levels may fluctuate on our website.
