In 1976, Werner Schwarzb and Frank Dittman, began to develop defrosting- and regenerating-machines as Convotherm in Wolfratshausen, Germany. With the construction of what is called the Closed System in 1982, the worldwide, first fully-electronically controlled Combi steamer was created. Today, Convotherm Combi steamers are as adaptable and flexible as the people who use them. With 35 basic customizable models, Convotherm offers many different configurations to suit the needs of your establishment.
